Cyprus is against any forms of visas for Russians. Moreover, the Ambassador of Cyprus to Russia believes that it is necessary to introduce visa-free regime for Russian citizens with the rest of the EU.
“The decisions must be made collectively by all members of the EU. Cyprus, in turn, will raise this matter at every possible opportunity” – said Georgios Kasoulides.
“Regardless of the introduced sanctions and counter measures introduced by Russia, we need to promote this idea. It is very important for both sides” – Kasoulides added.
