Cyprus launches gov.cy “e-registration” for national guard conscripts

Nicosia, Cyprus. The defence ministry on Friday launched the digital service “e-registration” for conscripts of the national guard intake, opening the platform for submission of selection data declarations. The system will remain available until midnight on May 3.

Access and registration requirements

The service is accessible through the government portal under the “ Military Service ” section. Access requires users to create and verify a citizen profile on gov.cy.
The ministry said conscripts who have not created and identified a profile should do so immediately, as registration is required to participate in the allocation process.

Submission of preferences and documentation

Through the platform, conscripts can submit their selection data declaration and supporting documents, indicating preferences for placement within the national guard structure.
The process covers allocation to branches, arms and corps, unit placement, and selection for specific service categories, including reserve officer candidates and roles in special forces such as commandos, military police and other specialised units.
It also includes options for technical specialties, advanced technological roles, military music, and other designated service pathways within the force structure.

Support services and hotline

A classification support centre has been activated at the defence ministry to assist applicants during the submission process.
A dedicated hotline, 1430, is available to conscripts, parents and guardians for enquiries throughout the registration period.
The support service operates on weekdays from 8.00am to 17.00pm, and on public holidays from 8.00am to 13.00pm.

Have you created and verified your citizen profile on gov.cy to complete the “e-registration” process?
