Cyprus plans to keep up the high numbers in tourism sector

The tour operators in Ayia-Napa and Protaras are sure that they will be able to keep the same high level of hotel occupancy until the beginning of October. According to the Famagusta development manager, the predictions are quite positive. Moreover ,statistically, October is traditionally the best month for tourism.

He also encourages the airline companies to start charter flights to Cyprus next year as soon as possible – for example in April. Moreover he believes that it is necessary to keep actively promoting Cyprus as holiday destination at the exhibitions in the U.K. and in Russia.
