The police spokesman Andreas Angelides said that during the last night two robberies happened in Limassol. In the first instance the criminals broke into a house of a businessman and stole 100,000 Euros by breaking through the main entrance. Later an unknown man with a hood was threatening a shop assistance with a knife and took 170 Euros from a bakery.

The Limassol police reminds the public that such incidents could’ve been avoided is video surveillance and security systems were used and urges the homeowners and small businesses to take preventive measures against crime.
