Chisinau, Moldova. President Nikos Christodoulides is scheduled to depart on Saturday for the first-ever visit to the Moldovan capital by a Cypriot president. He is set to meet Moldovan President Maia Sandou to discuss bilateral relations and regional and political developments.
Planned meetings and agenda
Director of the president’s press office Victoras Papadopoulos said Christodoulides and Sandou will discuss bilateral relations between Cyprus and Moldova, Moldova’s EU accession process, regional developments, and developments in the Cyprus issue.
Travel schedule and delegation
Christodoulides will depart from the island at noon and return in the evening. He will be accompanied by Deputy Minister of European Affairs Marilena Rauna.
