Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus taekwondo federation will travel to the United States next month for an educational training programme, the federation said on Tuesday. The trip will run from April 4 to 19 with stops in New York and Florida.

The federation said the delegation will attend seminars and train with international athletes and instructors during the visit to New York and Florida.

Meeting with Grand Master
The federation said a key moment of the trip will be a meeting with taekwondo Grand Master Jae Hwa Kwon.

Team coach Petros Agamemnonos said the trip will provide participants with valuable experience and insight into the discipline’s philosophy. He said it is an opportunity for the team to develop, gain international experience and connect with the authentic philosophy of traditional taekwondo, and described meeting Grand Master Jae Hwa Kwon as a unique opportunity for students.
