Nicosia, Cyprus. St. Paul’s Cathedral in Nicosia will host a special live music concert on Saturday featuring award-winning Cypriot musician Della, who is returning to Cyprus for a one-off performance alongside an orchestra. Due to high demand, a second show has been added on the same day.
Performance details
The concert marks one year since the release of Della’s debut EP 13. During Saturday’s performance, the band will be accompanied by a five-piece orchestra arranged and orchestrated by Andys Skordis.
Recent recognition
The performance follows Della’s recent shows in Europe, her MME Award win, and her current nomination for a Madame Figaro award in the musician category.
Recording and ticket availability
The concert will be filmed and recorded live for later release. Following demand for the 9pm performance, organisers added a second show at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at www.louvanarecords.com/della.
Organisers’ statement
“A church, an orchestra, and Della on home soil,” organisers said. “Expect the usual soirée but a tiny bit more cinematic.”
Event information
The performances will take place on June 13 at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Nicosia at 7.30pm and 9pm. Organisers said both shows are expected to be fully booked.
