The first holiday packages to Turkey were sold in Russia since the removal of the prohibition. According to the Association of the Tour Operators, the demand for Turkey remains low.
First of all the season is coming ot the end and secondly security issues have not been fully resolved. Nevertheless, the sale of the tours to Antalya commenced on the 1st of July.
The prohibition of the sale of tours to Turkey were lifted by the President of Russia on the 30th of June after the relevant agreements were made with the President of Turkey.
