London, United Kingdom. Four men were stabbed on Endell Street near Covent Garden on Wednesday, and police arrested a woman in her 40s in what they said they believed was a mental health-related incident.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and assault and remains in custody.
Victims treated and taken to trauma centre
The four men, aged 34, 39, 42 and 52, were found with stab wounds, a London Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
They were treated at the scene before being taken to a nearby trauma centre.
Police seize scissors
Police said officers seized a pair of scissors at the scene.
The incident took place about a quarter of a mile from Covent Garden square, an area popular with tourists and known for street performers.
