Under pressure of European Union, Greece will open registration centers for migrants, which are arriving to its territory.
In these establishments, migrants are photographed, have their fingerprints recorded and they submit their applications for the refugee status. In case if there are not enough grounds to grant them the refugee status, then they are sent back to their country of origin– these measures, according to Brussels, must help to reduce the number of economic migrants from other countries.
In case if Athens will not be able to comply with the set requirements, then Greece risks to lose the privilege of its citizens to travel without passports within the EU
Greece- is one of the countries through which the migrants are getting into the EU. During 2015, more than 1 million people from Middle East and North Africa managed to enter the Europe.
