The first hearing in the case of a recount in Limassol municipal elections is scheduled for the 1st of June.
The elections were held in December last year, however, Andreas Christou and AKEL officials challenged the results by filing a request to the district court for a recount.
According to earlier reports, the votes of those, who abstained were counted incorrectly. Andreas Christou did not comment, as the newly elected mayor Nikos Nikolaidis had already taken the oath.
