Livadia, Cyprus. Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out at a house in Livadia, Larnaca, early on Friday and may have been caused by a technical failure in a photovoltaic system transformer. The homeowner was taken to hospital after inhaling smoke.
Fire breaks out overnight
Police said the fire started at around 3am and quickly spread to the ground floor of the house.

The fire service responded quickly and brought the fire under full control.
