Long-awaited Award for Leo

Leonardo DiCaprio got the Oscar award for his role as Hugh Glass in The Revenant. This is the first Oscar award in the career of the 41-year-old actor. Previously he was nominated for the award for his work in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”, “The Aviator”, “Blood Diamond” and “The Wolf of Wall Street” (nominated as “Best Actor” and “Best Producer”), however he got the long-awaited award only today.

Mexican director Alejandro G. Iñárritu, who directed The Revenant, got the award for the Best Director for the second year in a row. Furthermore, the movie got the award for Cinematography.
