Nicosia, Cyprus. Los Angeles-based musician and comedian Morgan Jay will perform in Cyprus for the first time on June 7, 2027, at Strovolos Municipal Theatre in Nicosia. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster Cyprus.
First Cyprus performance
Jay is known for a music and comedy show that has gained popularity online, with viral clips showing audience members singing their names into an autotuned microphone. His performances are built around audience interaction, with no two shows the same.
Career and background
Jay has appeared on MTV’s Wild ’N Out, NBC and Comedy Central, and was named one of the Just For Laughs New Faces in 2023. A first-generation American, he draws musical influences from his Brazilian and Italian heritage and from 1990s culture.
Early work and acting projects
He began his career in New York, where he studied at the Tisch School of the Arts while performing stand-up in underground venues and bars across the city’s alternative comedy scene.
Jay recently wrapped filming for Joey Power’s upcoming film Love Language, alongside Chloë Grace Moretz and Anthony Ramos. He also appears in the Apple TV+ series Stick with Owen Wilson and Marc Maron, as well as NBC’s St. Denis Medical.
Upcoming film appearance
Jay also stars in J. Pinder’s action-comedy film Cotton Candy Bubble Gum, which is set to premiere at SXSW 2025 in the Narrative Spotlight section.
