Nata, Cyprus. The Prickly Pear Festival will return to the Paphos district village for its 31st edition on August 7, celebrating a fruit closely associated with Cypriot culture and produce.
Festival programme
The one-day event will take place in Nata village square from 8pm. Visitors will be able to taste local prickly pears free of charge, browse other local produce and enjoy music and traditional flavours.
Village preparations
Preparations are underway in Nata, where residents are preparing to welcome visitors from across Cyprus. The festival has become a regular part of the region’s summer activities, bringing together local residents and visitors interested in rural life, tradition and Cypriot hospitality.
