The President of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Anastasiades has interrupted his visit to Turkey due to violation of the protocol by Ankara.
Anastasiades arrived to Turkey on the 23rd of May, however he has declined the invitation to t=official lunch organized by Erdogan, because the leader of Turkish Cypriot Mustafa Akinchi was also invited.
According to the media, the two politics are conducting negotiations to reunify Cyprus and the head of the recognised state Nicos Anastasiades has negatively reacted to an attempt of equal reception of the two leaders.
