Nicosia, Cyprus. A photography exhibition featuring images taken by more than 100 Greek and Turkish Cypriots is being held in the Buffer Zone in Nicosia. Titled Through Ordinary Eyes, it is on view at the Ledra Street venue between the two checkpoints until January 23.

Through Ordinary Eyes is currently on display at the Ledra Street venue located between the two checkpoints in Nicosia’s Buffer Zone. The exhibition brings together digital images of Cypriots across the capital city’s division.
Curators and focus
The exhibition is curated by Haris Pellapaisiotis and Ayşegül Salamis Şentuğ‑Tuğyan. It aims to capture everyday life and present a collective portrait of Nicosia and its shared daily routines, with the city’s residents as observers and narrators of their lived experiences.
Organisers and funding
The exhibition is presented by the Technical Committee on Culture as a project of the Technical Committee. It is funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in coordination with OSASG-Cyprus.
Opening hours
The exhibition runs until January 23 and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 3.30pm to 8pm.
