Journalist Association of Greece has condemned the incident which happened on the ERT TV channel.
On Tuesday afternoon, on the 50th anniversary of the channel, a group of anarchists from ‘Rubicon” has broken into the building of the ERT TV and radio channel. During the interview of the ex-MP of KPG party Liane Kanelli, approximately 20 individuals broke into the studio. The anniversary news report was removed from air and a documentary film was put as replacement.
Anarchists were demanding to read a certain text and then a clash with journalists occurred. One the employees of the channel was injured. Police apprehended the perpetrators and took them to the Attica police station.
