Limassol, Cyprus. A police officer reportedly shot his wife and then himself with his service pistol in the Zakaki area of Limassol on Monday morning. The woman was taken to hospital and is being treated in serious condition.
According to media reports, the incident occurred at around 7am, when the man shot his wife and then took his own life.
Police have cordoned off the scene, and investigations into the case are ongoing.
