The humanitarian organisation Caritas Cyprus urges the residents of Cyprus to help refugees and not to leave them in famine during the Christmas period.
Organisation stated that “many refugees cannot receive monetary help from the government for various reasons. Young mothers are in especially difficult situation, because they cannot feed their children”.
Food can be donated in the Holy Cross catholic church in Nicosia from 09:00 until 13:00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
