Suspicious object was found in Larnaca Airport

The Larnaca Airport was evacuated on Saturday at 18:00. People, who started panicking due to not being informed about the situation, were assembled on the parking lot.

Later, it was discovered that a suspicious object was found, which can be a bomb. The bomb squad arrived to the scene at 19:15. They found a shoe box sealed with duct tape in one of the trash bins.

After one hour, when the media arrived to the airport, the management of the airport commented on the situation.
