The Cobalt Airlines, which is based in Larnaca, has made its first test flight to Iraklion.
The new budget airline made the test flight within the framework of examination, which is currently underway in order to acquire the certificate from the Civil aviation authority.
According to their plan, from the 1st of July 2016, the company is planning to make flight from Larnaca to various Greek cities, as well as London, Manchester, Paris, Beirut, Tel-Aviv, Tehran and many others. Next season the company is planning to expand its fleet and list of destinations with flight to China, as well as the Northern and Southern Africa.
Currently, the company employs 145 people and plans to increase the number of staff.
