The representatives of the two communities of Cyprus will assemble together at the event “For Peace” next to Ledra hotel in Nicosia. The initiative of the labor party PEO in the South and “Peace and resolution platform” in the North, was already supported 12 organisations from the whole island.
According to the organisers of the event, people will gather together in order to “forgive the act of the past and to call for the use of logic, hope and peace”.
The organisers also expect that the initiative will also be supported by other minorities of Cyprus – Latinians, Moronites and Armenians.
