The negotiations session concerning security and guarantees has started in Mont Pelerin. The matter of security of the population became one of key conditions for the continuation of the negotiations at the highest level.
Apart from the Greek and Turkish groups, the session includes representatives from U.K., Greece and Turkey. The Cyprus delegation consists of the main negotiator Mr. Andreas Mavroyiannis and other academics, diplomats and governmental employees.
It is expected that the negotiations will last for 2-3 days, which will be followed by a new round of negotiations in attempt to resolve the Cyprus problem.
