Paphos, Cyprus. Police arrested a 30-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman as part of an investigation into alleged conspiracy offences and written threats. The arrests followed a complaint and the securing of warrants for both suspects.
Arrests and court proceedings
Police said the 30-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of Monday by officers from Paphos police and later appeared before Paphos district court. The court approved a police request for his detention and issued a five-day remand.
Police said the 27-year-old woman was located and arrested shortly before midday on Sunday. She remains in custody and is expected to appear before court on Tuesday for proceedings related to a detention order.
Investigation continues
