МИД Украины

Ukraine is outraged with the fact that Cyprus has adopted the resolution to lift anti-Russian sanctions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that the mere fact of such resolution demonstrates that certain Cypriot MPs disregard the principles of International relations.

The MFA of Ukraine also added that the position of the Cypriot is “the implicit supports of the aggressor”. The resolution to lift the sanctions was adopted on the 7th of July by overwhelming majority of the Parliament. The author of the resolution is Georgos Loucaides, who is the member of the Communist Progressive party (AKEL).
