Wedding Travel Company says Cyprus remains safe for destination weddings amid regional concerns

London, United Kingdom. The Wedding Travel Company said Cyprus remains a safe destination for weddings despite regional concerns, citing continued travel and normal operations across the island.

Company reassurance amid regional coverage

The Wedding Travel Company, described as the UK’s largest independent destination wedding company, said ongoing news coverage surrounding the Middle East has created uncertainty for some couples planning to marry abroad. It said Cyprus continues to welcome thousands of UK travellers each week, including those attending weddings and events.

Weddings and suppliers operating as scheduled

The company said resorts, venues, and wedding suppliers are operating as normal, with ceremonies taking place as scheduled across Cyprus. It said weddings are continuing without disruption, including in popular destinations such as Paphos and Ayia Napa.

Travel advice and contingency planning

The company noted that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office has not issued any advice against travel to Cyprus. It said it monitors official updates closely and bases its guidance entirely on verified government information, adding that there are no restrictions impacting weddings or travel to Cyprus. The firm said contingency planning is in place should official travel advice change, and that it would contact clients immediately if official guidance changed.
