Authorities are searching for the missing immigrants

The Cyprus authorities are still searching for the group of the missing migrants.

According to the In-Cyprus, 55 migrants from Syria arrived to Kato Pyrgos by boat, near the UN Buffer Zone. 47 of them were already found, but others are still missing. It has also been established the 4 of them were already deported after the relevant checks were completed.

One of the obstacles is that the “authorities” of the occupied part of Cyprus are not providing access to the search groups from the Republic of Cyprus.
