Bases police issued 30 fixed penalty notices and 47 written cautions during the week. Officers also carried out 30 breathalyser tests and three drug tests.

The marine unit responded to an emergency involving two people in the sea at Lady’s Mile beach on August 15 and provided emergency assistance.
