Cypriots are increasingly making purchases online

According to the card payment system JCC Payment Systems Ltd, in August the volume of transactions using plastic cards grew by 17%. Such growth was noted, in comparison with the indicators of the same month last year. Thus, the total amount of Cyprus online shopping amounted to 223 million euros.
We also add that a similar trend can be traced in the EU as a whole. Consumer confidence in e-commerce over the past 10 years has increased dramatically. According to data for 2017, every second European makes a purchase online.
