Cyprus and Egypt have agreed upon the time frames for supply of the gas

According to the International agreement, Cyprus will commence to supply natural gas to Egypt in 2017. It will be transported directly from the “Aphrodite” gas field to the terminal in Cairo.

In order to discuss the volume of sales, prices and supply times, the Minister of Oil Industry of Egypt will visit Cyprus in November. Next spring the President of Egypt will visit Nicosia in order to make the final amendments.

The actual agreement was signed by the presidents of Cyprus and Egypt during the summit in Cairo.
