DCO launches second Digital Prosperity Awards with global call for entries
The Digital Cooperation Organisation, whose members include Cyprus, is seeking digital solutions with measurable social and economic benefits for its second awards edition.

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO), whose membership includes Cyprus, has opened applications and nominations for the second edition of its Digital Prosperity Awards. The organisation said it was seeking digital solutions that produce measurable benefits for economies and societies.
Worldwide participation
According to the DCO, eligibility extends to public institutions, businesses and civil society organisations, both within its member countries and elsewhere around the world. The awards recognise technological and innovative approaches that speed up digital transformation while helping create a digital economy that is more inclusive, sustainable and prosperous.
The organisation said this edition’s theme, “Building the Future, Today”, focuses on initiatives already influencing the digital future. These include solutions that make services more accessible, empower individuals and communities, help businesses grow, foster innovation and enable more people to participate in the digital economy.
Recognition and wider opportunities
DCO secretary-general Deemah AlYahya said the awards would give effective digital solutions greater visibility and help their creators find opportunities to collaborate.
She said governments, innovators, organisations and communities committed to digital cooperation were using their vision, dedication and creativity to build a prosperous digital future. Their collective efforts, she added, were converting possibilities into progress and using technology to deliver concrete, measurable improvements in people’s lives.
According to the organisation, the second edition seeks both to honour solutions that support digital prosperity and to link them with broader networks, fresh opportunities and partners able to expand their reach and impact.
AlYahya urged innovators and organisations in DCO member countries and worldwide to put forward solutions capable of changing lives, strengthening communities and creating new routes to opportunity.
First edition recognised seven winners
The DCO said its inaugural awards honoured seven recipients representing public institutions, businesses and civil society. The ceremony took place in Jordan in February 2025 alongside the organisation’s fourth General Assembly.
Two of those seven winners received the flagship Digital Prosperity for All prizes, according to the organisation.
