EU will check Cyprus for compliance

The EU Parliamentary committee will arrive to Cyprus on Friday in order to check the links of Cyprus to the recent Panama scandals.

The Committee will conduct negotiations with the President Anastasiades and other high-position officials on the island. The EU has instructed the committee to check if there were any infringements of the law by the members of the European Union.

President Anastasiades has already requested the Cyprus authorities to assist in the investigation of the Panama documents.
