Eurobank backs ninth annual youth entrepreneurship awards in Cyprus
Eurobank renewed its support for Keve’s annual awards recognising entrepreneurs under 40 and their contribution to the Cypriot economy.

Nicosia, Cyprus. Eurobank reaffirmed its support for young entrepreneurs and innovation in Cyprus by backing the ninth annual youth entrepreneurship awards organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve). The awards recognise entrepreneurs under 40 and their contribution to the development of the Cypriot economy.
Support for entrepreneurship
Speaking at the ceremony, Eurobank Corporate Banking general manager Nicolas Panayi congratulated Keve on organising the event and on its long-standing contribution to supporting entrepreneurship in Cyprus.
Panayi said businesses were operating in an environment of constant change, making their ability to adapt, develop and innovate increasingly important.
“Young entrepreneurs are not simply creating new businesses,” he said. “They are creating new ideas, new solutions and new perspectives.”
He added that young entrepreneurs challenge established ways of doing things, use technology, invest in knowledge and open up paths that often did not previously exist.
Partnership with Cypriot businesses
Panayi also highlighted Eurobank’s role as a partner to Cypriot businesses. He said its Corporate and Commercial Banking operations sought to understand companies’ needs and provide appropriate solutions, tools and expertise as they develop.
“For us, the relationship with a business is not limited to financing,” he said.
“We want to be a stable and reliable partner at every stage of its journey, from the first steps of a new idea through to growth, international expansion and entering new markets,” he added.
