Events for World Hypertension Day

A hypertension campaign will be held as part of the World Hypertension Day activities in Cyprus to raise awareness about the disease.

Presentations and informative events will be held tomorrow in the biggest shopping centres around Cyprus and  in Agios Lazaros Square in Larnaca. The campaign is aimed to inform Cyprus residents about the disease, diagnosis methods and effects on overall health.

According to the statistical data, every fourth person in Cyprus suffers from high blood pressure. Sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise and unhealthy diet is usually to blame in developing this condition, which can be dangerous for human’s health.
