Fake banknotes were found in Cyprus

According to the police, a local citizen was apprehended in the Famagusta region for using fake banknote with the value of 200 Euros.

50-year-old man wanted to make a bet for 10 Euros in the betting shop using the 200 Eur note. The owner of the establishment discovered that the note was fake when he went to the bank and then reported this to police.

Currently the suspect is apprehended for interrogation. Investigation is underway.
