Government launches online platform to help people identify eligible state benefits

Nicosia, Cyprus. The government on Wednesday announced the launch of a new online platform designed to help people find state benefits and allowances for which they may be eligible. The service provides users with a list of potential entitlements based on their responses to a five-stage questionnaire.

Platform process

The platform asks users a series of questions covering residence status, age, employment status, and details related to household composition, income, and property.

Available benefits

According to the government, the platform currently includes information on 45 allowances and benefits. These include student grants, rent subsidies for displaced persons, unemployment benefit, sickness benefit, and other state benefits.

Further expansion

The government said the platform will be continuously enriched with new services.
