Larnaca, Cyprus. A Greek Cypriot diver died after being found in distress near the Zenobia shipwreck off the Larnaca coast, the Joint Rescue and Coordination Centre (JRCC) said on Saturday.


Rescue operation and hospital admission

The JRCC said the man was rescued via speedboat by the port and maritime police and later transferred to an ambulance before being admitted to Larnaca general hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
