Nicosia, Cyprus. Heavy traffic was reported on roads leading to Troodos on Sunday due to a large number of visitors, police said.

Fog and immobilised vehicle worsen conditions

Police said traffic flow towards the mountain became more difficult because of dense fog in the area, exacerbated by a vehicle that was immobilised due to a mechanical fault.

Police issue driver advisory

Police urged drivers to exercise caution and to follow the instructions of police officers on duty.
