Iran leadership council approves conditional suspension of attacks on neighbouring countries

Tehran, Iran. Iran’s temporary leadership council has approved a suspension of attacks against neighbouring countries unless an attack on Iran originates from their territory, President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Saturday.

Pezeshkian said the suspension would apply to attacks against neighbouring countries, except in cases where an attack on Iran originates from their territory.

The announcement came as Iran continued to launch strikes across the region in response to US-Israeli military operations against the Islamic Republic.
