Iran says it could discuss nuclear programme with U.S. if commitments are met

Tehran, Iran. Iran would discuss its nuclear programme and its highly enriched uranium with the United States if Washington fulfils its commitments in a potential memorandum of understanding, a senior Iranian diplomat said on Monday.

These issues would be discussed in 60-day negotiations in exchange for the lifting of sanctions and the release of Iranian foreign assets, Hossein Nooshabadi said, according to ISNA news agency.
