Larnaca yard fire believed to have been started deliberately, fire brigade says

Larnaca, Cyprus. A yard fire in Larnaca on Wednesday afternoon is believed to have been started deliberately, the fire brigade said. Two engines responded to the call and brought the blaze under control shortly after.

The fire brigade received the call at 5.12pm and dispatched two engines. The fire began in power tool batteries stored outside, damaging nearby kitchen equipment and part of the fence.

An investigation found the fire was likely set maliciously.
