Limassol Port will be connected with highway

The port of Limassol will be connected to the Limassol – Paphos motorway. Construction work on the road began today.

According to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, the first stage construction will be carried between Omonia Avenue and the Lady’s Mile crossroads, as well as to the east of Omonia ring road.

During the construction works, some sections of the road in this area will be temporarily closed. The Department of Road Works apologizes for inconvenience and invites all residents to observe the temporary traffic rules and traffic light signals.

The project is expected to be completed in 2 years time.
