Man arrested in Limassol over serious stabbing case

Limassol, Cyprus. A 40-year-old man was arrested in Limassol on Friday night in connection with a case involving serious bodily harm and stabbing. A 45-year-old man remains in serious condition in hospital after undergoing surgery.

Incident and arrest

Police said they were informed of the incident at around 12.30am, when the 45-year-old man was admitted to Limassol general hospital with injuries caused by a sharp object.

Investigation findings

According to the investigation, the 45-year-old received a phone call from the 40-year-old, who invited him to his home that night to resolve personal differences.

Attack details

When the 45-year-old arrived at the suspect’s house with two relatives, the suspect allegedly attacked them with a knife, seriously injuring the 45-year-old.

Victim’s condition

The 45-year-old has since undergone surgery and is being treated in serious condition.
