Mostly sunny weather forecast with inland temperatures reaching 40C

Nicosia, Cyprus. Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny across Cyprus, with periods of increased cloud cover and patchy fog in some areas.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 40C inland, 31C on the southwest and west coasts, 34C on other coasts and 30C in the mountains.

Overnight conditions

Skies are expected to remain largely clear overnight, although cloud cover is forecast to increase in coastal areas.

Light fog and mist are expected in eastern areas during the early hours of Friday. Temperatures are forecast to fall to 20C inland, 22C on the coasts and 18C in the mountains.

Friday outlook

Friday’s weather is expected to be largely similar to Thursday’s, with isolated rain showers possible in the mountains.

Temperatures are expected to remain stable through Friday and the weekend.
