Kissonerga, Cyprus. A 38-year-old man injured in a motorcycle collision with a car in the Paphos district village of Kissonerga remains in critical condition on Saturday, police said.


Crash details

Police said the motorcycle collided with a car driven by a 47-year-old woman at around 10.40pm on Thursday. Police reported the man was not wearing a helmet at the time.

Driver tests

Following the collision, the woman was tested for drugs and alcohol, and no traces of either were found in her system, police said.

Hospital treatment

The man was initially taken to Paphos general hospital and was later transferred to a hospital in Limassol for further treatment.

Investigation

Police said their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
