New safety campaign started in Cyprus

During the week starting on 21^st of November the Cyprus police will be conducting safety check. During the 7-day campaign, the police officers will be rigorously checking the use of the front and rear seat belts, as well as the use of specialised seats for the kids in the car.

The police management believes that the campaign will remind the drivers about the importance of the use of the basic safety systems in the car.

According to the statistical data, 66% of the traffic accidents in Cyprus have lethal outcome, because the driver and passengers were not using seatbelts.
