Observatory Park to be opened in Akamas

The idea of building an Observatory Park in Akamas in Cyprus was born during the international student competition. More than 60 students from different European universities submitted their projects. However, the project of Belgium Ghent University student team was considered the best. The Observatory Park will be constructed according to their design.

Terms and details of the construction are not being announced yet. According to the preliminary data, the observatory will be located in the village of Pano Arodes.

A special tourist walking route will connect Avakas gorge with Observatory Park.
