Recall of chocolates

Cyprus and 54 other countries are conducting a recall of the chocolates due to the risk of presence of plastic in the contents. This will result in multimillion losses to the Mars corporation.

Head of the ministry of health has noted that the recall concerns brands: Mars, Milky-Way, Snickers, Celebrations and Mini Mix.

The Mars Corporation has announced the recall of the goods after a resident of Germany has found a piece of red plastic in the Snickers bar on the 8th of January.

It was later established that on the factory located in the city of Vegel in Netherlands, a piece of protective sheath used in the manufacturing process came into the raw material.
