Nicosia, Cyprus. A 22-year-old Romanian woman died on Wednesday after sustaining critical injuries in a traffic collision on the Delikipou to Lythrodontas road on Saturday. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.


Victim identified

Anreea Larisa Harabor died at 11.45am at Nicosia General Hospital, where she had been receiving treatment since the accident.

Collision and treatment

The collision occurred shortly before 5pm on Saturday, when Harabor was riding a motorcycle that collided with a car driven by a 45-year-old man.

Doctors found she had suffered a head injury. She was admitted to the intensive care unit, where she was intubated and remained until her death.

An autopsy is expected to be scheduled on Thursday. Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
